Charles D. Romo

Charles D. Romo is a graduate of Boston University School of Law and holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from George Washington University. He was an attorney with the Board of Veterans' Appeals from 1973-1975, and a Judge on the Board of Veterans' Appeals from 1975-1994. When he was appointed to the B.V.A. Judgeship, he was the youngest judge ever appointed to that position.
After Charles left the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, he was appointed as Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Administration and served in that position from 1994-2006. At one point, he was the Chief Judge of the Social Security Hearing office in Jacksonville.
He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates (NOVA) and accredited with the Department of Veterans Affairs to represent disabled veterans. Charles meets with clients in the Jacksonville and Lake City offices.
